The high Sangre de Cristo Mountains of Northern New Mexico surround the headwaters of the Pecos River. Come and stay in historic log cabins and getaway retreats located on the road to the Pecos Wilderness at 7,000 feet in the Santa Fe National Forest. These fully furnished accommodations all have river access. Take a long hike, do some rock climbing, horseback riding, biking, fish for fresh mountain trout, or simply curl up with a good book. The Pecos Canyon is only 45 minutes from downtown Santa Fe's Historic Plaza and ends in the Pecos Wilderness, over 220,000 acres of hiking trails, high mountain lakes and beautiful scenery.

Once a log homestead on a ranch down river, this cabin has been reassembled, remodeled and accented on two sides with a veranda that snuggles right up to the Pecos. The king bedded loft has two balconies, one overlooking the river. The other bedroom contains a full bed. The cabin is completed by a large bath with laundry, full kitchen, propane barbeque, direct satellite TV (with Blue-ray player), CD/Cassette Stereo, WIFI, and a hot tub overlooking the river.
